I found another site that offers free web conferencing. It’s on a 30 day trial only, but after that you are looking at 2.5 cents a minute. Not a lot. The company is Zip Conferencing, and the offer audio conferencing, and web conferencing.

Audio Conferencing

The audio conferencing is 5.5 cents a minute, can support up to 125 participants, and additionally allows you to record. The conferencing comes with basic host controls. You can manage volume, security, and create sub-conferences. No monthly contracts, just pay as you go. How much would you value a hour long conference with 100 people? At these rates you are looking at just $3.30. Think you can handle it?

Web Conferencing

Web conferencing is $29 per month, and offers the first 30 days as a free trial. It can support up to 100 participants. It supports sharing of applications, sharing documents, and has a whiteboard. It also has video integration. Anytime you are considering getting a web conferencing service, ALWAYS try to take advantage of any free trial. The reasoning is not so much about saving a dime, it’s about testing the service. Doing a side by side comparison to GoToMeeting, Zip Conference offers a more comprehensive list of services for the dollar.

Pretty good rates for the audio conferencing I must say, and I like that it does not require a contract or any additional fees. Just pay for your use.

Every Friday Best Web Image has a post in their Site Feedback category. I pick a readers submission for a website, and the post the site asking visitors to submit feedback about the website referenced. It gives the site owner a little free publicity, and more importantly some feedback on how they can improve their site. I also like to give a little hint on how I pick a submission. Besides looking for certain factors within the site, I also tend to prefer to pick those sites submitted by those whom actually give feedback on other sites. Basically, if you support the cause, I may help you out as well.
