Looking for a web hosting blog? Maybe one that isn’t just filled with referral links, and reviews? Then maybe it’s time to visit Temi’s Blog.
An Actual Blog About Hosting
So the reason I like Temi’s web hosting blog is because it’s not about where to get the best server for cheap. It’s about what makes a good server, and it’s from the perspective of an IT professional. Temi is an IT professional with a MSc in Internet Technology. I’ve known Temi for a while now, and besides educational qualifications he has a ton of real life experience in the industry.
Temi also has a little more experience than some when comes to web security on ecommerce sites because he was the main developer for Boss Cart, a popular ecommerce software. There is a great post on PCI compliance. I would suggest reading it if your site processes credit cards.
The blog has been around for a while, so there is a ton of great articles. Recently he just did some upgrades to the theme of the site, and I think it’s helping out is traffic substantially. Server getting your down? You may just want to check out his blog: Temi’s Blog

Liking the logo Mr. Ozami. Ozami.com is another directory site that takes paid submissions. I prefer free directory listings, but having your keywords in a quality directory can always give you a little help in the search rankings. It’s for sure better than just buying text links from a random site.
Ozami is a basic Internet Guide & Directory. Being a paid directory it’s banner ad free, and with exception to the home page apears to really have no paid ads at all. Checking out my site you can guess how I feel about splattering your site with ads. Note to webmasters, you can make money with your website without ads on your site. My experience is that if you want to make money with your site, figure out another way than making a nickel per thousand visitors with stupid ads. You might make a little bit more than a nickel, but really, a thousand visitors and you only made $10? My best site make more than 25 cents a visitor, and add free. It’s not as hard as you think.
Back to Ozami though, they did offer a free way to submit your site. It may take a little longer to get listed, but could be worth the wait. The site also had a blog, Shopping Product Services Blogs, which unfortunately seemed a little off topic for me. The site is well ranked and indexed on Google, but it gets over 15,000 daily visitors so you should be getting some traffic out of them.

I found a cool video on Microsoft Surface on this UK Webmaster Blogs. It’s located on the top right of the blog. Microsoft surface appears to work like a touch screen, but it’s not. It uses cameras behind the screen. Could be a great idea if you have kids like me. They don’t like to touch, they like to bash.
Also, if you have not heard of UK Webmaster Blogs, it’s basically a search engine marketing guide blog. I know the owner, and if you knew the size of his network and web activity, you would know that this blog is a good one to watch. I try to keep this site focused on web tools, so parts of his blog that I found interesting is the web hosting blog posts. I lease a ton of server space myself.
The blog has been around since 2005 so their are categories for just about everything webmaster related, and if you are new to building websites this would be a great page to bookmark.
