Usability Analysis
If you are looking to improve your website a good first start is to test it. There are all sorts of free tests you can do online, and I have a few links to them from this site. Unfortunately, these automated tests are really only good for testing one thing though, your webmasters skills. They check code, meta tags, see if you outlined the site right. Some you will find that can figure out how many keywords you have, and various other items.
None of them though, really looks at your site as a person does. These tests cannot tell if your title even makes sense. They can count the words, and tell if you if it’s too long or not. I could write a title backwards though, and get a good result. You need to test your site with actual people. I suggest getting my heuristic web usability and design analysis. This analysis covers 35 major problem areas where websites often mess things up for a visitor.
